Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring the latest women's fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured on the left and right sides of the display, the ladies are each dressed in calf-length straight skirts, with oversized jackets which feature large lapels, and pocket detailing. Images of cat tails, and fall foliage are suspended from the ceiling between the mannequins. Signage is also suspended from the ceiling in the central foreground and reads, "Hudson's and Vogue agree: These are Four New Silhouettes, Which will You wear? The Bulky Top, Straight Skirt Silhouette, is a wonderful shape for the tall, slim figure, and again can help create the illusion of height and slenderness for many an average-sizes person, Gown and Fashion Coat Shop… Woodward Shops - 7th Floor."
