Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies outerwear fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A single female mannequin stands at the center of the window dressed in a calf-length overcoat with a three-button front enclosure, with an oversized Peter Pan style collar. Affixed to the rear of the display is an oversized cover of a 'Vogue' magazine, which features an etching of an eagle and reads, "VOGUE, 1953, Americana." Also, signage on the right side of the display reads, "Hudson's and Vogue present 1953 Spring Fashion: America Chooses American Slenderness, the newly narrow straight-lined coat, Woodward Shops."
