Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display featuring ladies fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the window display and each is dressed in the latest knit fashions. Featured on the left mannequin is a pair of textured trousers, and sweater, while the center mannequin is dressed in a pair of plaid knickers, and shawl neck sweater. The mannequin on the right is wearing knee socks, an above-the-knee skirt, and crewneck sweater. Ladies accessories are also featured in the display and include handbags, belts, and footwear. Affixed to the rear of the display is an oversized front cover of 'Mademoiselle' magazine, which features a model in the same outfit as the center mannequin. Signage in the right-central foreground reads, "Hudson's and Mademoiselle say: Big pullover sweaters connect to fancy legwork, self-explanatory! Choose your favorite length in pants and companion to the bigger the better sweater, College Shop, On Our Young Fashion, Fifth Floor."
