Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies summertime fashions available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the window, and each are dressed in differing styles which include, on the left mannequin a knee-length, sleeveless, empire waist dress with an embellished scalloped turtleneck collar, and belted waist. Also, the center mannequin is featured in a similar style dress which includes a scalloped V-neckline, and floral embellishment on the empire waist. Featured on the right mannequin is a textured pants set with matching vest, and accompanying blouse. The ladies are accessorized with handbags, jewelry, sunglasses, and strappy sandals. Ornamenting the display are rows of ship flags, and a mast which reads, "US.S. United States, Unites States Lines." Signage in the foreground reads, "Sail into summer with… B.H. Wragge, a stunning collection of brilliant designs in a holiday mood for the complete resort wardrobe, Hudson's Town and Country, 7th Floor." The company name and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
