Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies accessories, clothing, and housewares available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Affixed to the large quilted satin blanket in the center of the display are differing types of gift items including a chiffon dress, sweater, handbag, tea set, an illuminated lamp, gloves, and ladies scarves. Recessed displays are also featured on the left and right sides of the window, and included on the left are crystal oil lamps, a handbag, and leopard print jacket. Featured in the right recessed displays are ceramic figurines, flatware, books, a handbag, and a crystal vase. Signage affixed to the right rear of the window reads, "Be a Dear… Buy Her Gift from one of these windows, First, Mezzanine, Fifth and Tenth Floors." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "12-18-46; 22716-3x; Davis B. Hillmer."
