Black and white photographic print depicting the building occupied by the photographer, C.C. Randall, identified as 220 Woodward Avenue on the verso. Signs are posted outside of the two story building for "Portraits" and "Miniatures." Several sample photos are displayed around the stairs and door. A man in a suit stands in the shadows of the entrance. To the right of Randall's is the storefront of A. and G. Leitch, House and Sign Painters, at 218 Woodward. A sign on the sidewalk in front of the business advertises wallpaper, and one in the window further mentions window shades. A horse-drawn buggy passes in the street. A larger three story building is to the left of Randall's. "E. side Woodward John R & Witherell" handwritten on verso, along with "1873-4, 1874, 1876."
