Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies swimwear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured in the display, and each are dressed in the latest summertime fashions which include on the left mannequin, a striped sun dress, and on the right mannequin, a two-piece solid print bathing suit. Fish netting is suspended from the ceiling and hangs from a large ring. Ladies accessories including sunglasses, tanning lotion, and a scarf are featured on a platform on the left side of the display. Signage in the right-central foreground reads, "Opening of the Sun-Seeker's Shop, Fashions by Cole of California, Fifth Floor, Grand River." The date, and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "12-10-46; 22701-2x."
