Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features bridal lingerie and perfumes available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins each feature differing styles of nightgowns, all are floor length and include short sleeves, satin ribbons, rushing or lace appliques on the bodice. Two other nightgowns are affixed to the left and right sides of the display. The window is adorned with foliage and floral arrangements and also includes varying bottles of ladies perfumes. Signage is affixed to the rear of the display reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, for a trousseau of infinite loveliness…. SEA ILLUSION in Odette Barsa Originals for the Bride, Lingerie - Fifth Floor - Woodward, Toiletries - First Floor, Woodward." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-11-49; 23819-4x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
