Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display which features formal bridal and bridesmaid attire available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A bride stands on an elevated step on the left side of the display; she is dressed in a satin wedding dress with train, and cathedral length veil. She is adorned with a head piece, and holds a fan a bouquet in her hands. Three bridesmaids are also featured in the display and are dressed in full-length gowns with cap sleeves, deep V necklines, and button embellishments on the bodice. The window is ornamented with columns, and floral arrangements. Signage affixed to a column in the right rear of the window reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, The Formal Bride, In an Empire-Influenced Gown of Regal, Dramatic Satin, Bridal Shop… Sixth Floor, Gratiot." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-11-49; 23819-14x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
