Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features boys suits, and organdy dresses available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Four boys and three girls are featured in the display and the boys are dressed in differing styles of suits which include trousers or shorts, and the girls are dressed in differing organdy dresses with short sleeves, cinched at the waist with a satin ribbon and heavily embellished bodices. The girls are accessorized with coordinating headwear. The window is ornamented with archways, potted ferns and floral arrangements. Signage affixed to the left arch reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, The Younger Generation Goes to the Wedding, Proudly Dressed in New Suits and Dresses from the Junior Boys Store, Second Floor, and the Girls Shop, Fourth Floor, Woodward." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-11-49; 23819-22x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
