A female mannequin is featured on the left side of the display, dressed in a shirtwaist dress and apron; she appears to be folding laundry. Appliances are featured around the perimeter of the room including a washer and dryer, an ironer, a hot water heater, and storage cabinets. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, Here Comes the Bride to a Modern Utility Room, planned with care to lighten homemaking chores, Major Appliances… Tenth Floor, Woodward."
