Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features linens for the home of the bride and groom, available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A large linen closet with a Chippendale style pediment is open to reveal differing types of linens including sheets, towels, blankets and a comforter. Two ornamental wood chairs are against each of the doors and appear to hold them open. Signage in the right foreground reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, Here Comes the Bride to a Well-Stocked Linen Closet, Filled with Fine Linens and Blankets to Compliment Her Home's Décor, Linens and Bedding, Third Floor, Grand River." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "4-11-49; 23819-29x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
