Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display which features a bridal gown available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands in the center of the display dressed in a long sleeve, lace and tulle bridal gown; she is also adorned with a cathedral length veil, and lace head piece. Fabric is draped across the back of the display, and a wedding bell ornamented with lace and foliage hangs on the left side of the display. Small signage at the foot of the bride reads, "Wedding Gown Advance Pattern Number 5502." Signage affixed to and hanging from the bell reads, "Hudson's and Advance Patterns present, 'Happy is the Bride,' a fabric bridal show, presented by Miss Ann Turner, Advance Patterns stylist, Monday through Wednesday, February 27 through March 1, 2:30 o'clock, Fabrics - Third Floor… Sections B, C and D." Also, larger signage in the left foreground reads, "Bride's Week… a Tradition at Hudson's For the Bride Planning to Make Her Wedding Dress_ The Bridal Gown with a Redingote, -the dress in Skinner's Bridal Satin, $2.95 yard, -the Redingote in Lace, $1.50 yard, and Nylosette, $1.50 yard. The photographic sequence number, date, company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "24000-12x; 3-1-50, The J.L. Hudson Company, Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
