Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features a bridal gown and attendant dresses available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. The bride is featured on the right side of the window and she is dressed in an A-line tulle wedding gown, with three-quarter length sleeves, and a short veil, and head piece. Three bridesmaids are visible behind the bride, and are dress in complimentary dresses which include a tulle A-line skirt, rushed bodice, and shawl collar. All four of the ladies hold bouquets of flowers in their hands. The window is ornamented with flowers and potted ferns. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, Dress of My Dreams… The One I've Planned for the One I'll Always Remember, The Mid-century bride, a lovely in a dress of sheer, billowy, beauty - the trend for 1950 - also repeated in the attendant's gowns, Bridal Gown, Sixth Floor." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "3-1-50; 24000-15x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
