Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display which features bridal dresses available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured on the left and right sides of the window; each is featured in a tea-length, lace wedding dress. The ladies are accessorized with veils, head pieces, bouquets, and satin footwear. Laurel branches and a bird cage hang from the ceiling and ornament the window. Signage in the foreground reads, "Bride's Week - a Tradition at Hudson's, Tradition for Little Weddings, Dresses less formal but no less Bride-like, -Pretty costumes for all degrees of formality, Bridal Shop, 6th Floor, Woodward… Section D." The date, photographic sequence number, company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "2-23-53; 25649-4x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer."
