Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies sportswear for the bride, available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Three female mannequins are featured in the window display, and each are dressed in differing types of ladies sportswear. Featured on the left mannequin is a straight skirt, with blouse and textured box jacket with notched lapel and cuffs; also, the central mannequin displays a calf-length dress with belted waist, buttons, and ornamental collar. Lastly, the right mannequin features a polka-dot dress with front button embellishment, belted waist, and overcoat. All three of the ladies are accessorized with handbags, hats, jewelry, gloves, and footwear. A series of luggage in the display features ladies knitwear and other sportswear options. A small signage neighboring the luggage reads, "The Bride chooses Separates and Accessories, keyed in color to her base trousseau, Separates, 5th Floor, Woodward, Section E; Accessories, First and 7th Floors." A bird cage and laurel branches hang from the ceiling, ornamenting the display. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Bride's Week… a Tradition at Hudson's, Separates for your Trousseau, Color Scheming for a correlated effect, Here, Coordinated in Color, The Going-Away Suit, The Going-Away Coat, The Afternoon Dress, Suit Shop, Coat Shop, Misses Dresses Shop."
