Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies and junior miss footwear available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured in the display, and each are dressed in casual wear including a striped button front dress, and a solid-colored two piece skirt and blouse. Displayed on the stairs adjacent to the mannequins is ladies casual footwear. Displayed on the tiered pillars right of the mannequins are bottles of Velva Leg Film. An enlarged cover of Vogue magazine's 1946 beauty issue is affixed to the right side of the display; copies of the magazine are visible in the right foreground. Signage in the left foreground reads, "Bright shoes are costume news - will walk into town with city clothes, so rightly, Leisure Footwear, Seventh Floor, Farmer; Junior Shop, Fifth Floor, Woodward. The date and photographic sequence number are printed on the bottom of the recto, "8-14-46; 22451-12x."
