Boxes of the featured footwear are visible below the display, and available for purchase by customers. Shoe displays for rubbers, and more styles of ladies footwear are visible in the background. The company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "1947."
