Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies perfumes by Coty, available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Two female mannequins are featured in the window, and each are draped in fabrics, and accompanied by upholstered cushions which display the bottles of perfume. A shimmering powder covers the floor of the display, and featured atop the powder is signage which reads, "Poetry in Perfume, Muse, in the heart of Paris, Coty, Toiletries, First Floor, Woodward." Also, smaller signage at the base of the fluted column reads, "Thalia, Muse of Comedy and Pastoral Poetry, Costumed by Claire McCardell." A second small sign can be viewed in the background below the mannequin suspended from the ceiling, "Polygamia, Muse of Song, Costumed by Tina." The date, photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "6-24-46; 22492-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
