Print. Black and white photographic print of an interior window display which features ladies hair accessories available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin sits in the left foreground of the window dressed in knee socks, shorts and a blouse; she holds a book in her left hand. Hangers in the background display images of Co-ed's with their hair dressed in the latest fashions and include accompanying hair accessories. A copy of 'Seventeen' magazine is also affixed to the rear panel. Larger images of the Co-ed's are displayed along with a record player, ukulele, and a stuffed lamb. Signage in the right foreground, "You saw them in the August issue of Seventeen… you can get them at Hudson's, NEW HAIRDOS… created just for TEENS! Pick the one that suits your personality… here the FAIR LADY, for you if you're the delicately feminine, Beauty Salon, This Level." The photographic sequence number, company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "27251-x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "Aug. 20, 1956." Also, stamped on the verso is the photographer's location, "Davis B. Hillmer Commercial Photography, 8825 Second Ave., Detroit, Michigan."
