Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies hosiery available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Ladies nylon stockings are displayed on mannequin legs and draped on roping, and signage throughout the window. A large sign affixed in the background reads, "Twist." Smaller signage affixed to the lower right side of the large sign reads, "Insist of Twist! Twisted Nylon Stockings give you 25% more resilience than ordinary yarn! -Duller crepe finish, -More elasticity, -Better fit, -Increased snag resistance; Zephyr, $1.15 pair; Hosiery, Grand River, Section A… Farmer Section B." The photographic sequence number, company name and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "25600-2x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The date is hand-written on the verso, "Sept. 1952." Also, stamped on the verso is the photographer's address and telephone number, "Davis B. Hillmer Commercial Photography, 8825 Second Ave., Detroit 2, Michigan. TR 5-7620; TR 2-8000."
