Female mannequin heads display the latest in millinery designs. Lace fabric is draped across the back of the display. Ladies accessories which include a handbag and gloves which are visible beneath a mannequin head on the right side of the window. Signage in the central-left foreground reads, "Lilly Dache, Again, this Gifted Milliner sends news and thrilling examples of Individuality - Dexterity and Prolific Chic, Millinery Salon, Seventh Floor - Woodward." The photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "17212; Davis B. Hillmer."
