Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies hats available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. A female mannequin stands in the middle of the display, dressed in tweed suit, and fur wrap, she is adorned with the latest headwear. Featured atop mannequin heads on the left and right sides of the display are more styles of ladies hats. Each of the mannequins feature a differing style and pattern of scarf wrapped around their neck. Footballs affixed to the rear of the display and visible adjacent to the mannequin, feature leather helmets. Signage in front of the mannequin reads, "Buoyant Accents to Fall, by Lilly Dache, Answering Paris' Cable - Two Toned Fabric Hats, Seventh Floor - Woodward." The photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "17543; Davis B. Hillmer."
