Print. Black and white photographic print of a window display which features ladies fur-trimmed hats, available at The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Ladies mannequin heads are featured atop ornamented, ribbon-shaped tiers and feature the latest in headwear. The window is also ornamented with hat boxes, and fur wraps. A Christmas wreath is affixed to the rear of the display with signage which reads, "It's Christmas Time at Hudson's." Also, signage in the central foreground reads, "I've Always Wanted a Beautiful Mink-Trimmed Hat, Are you listening Mr. Santa? Make such a hat your important gift to 'Her.' We've a wonderful collection from which to choose, Millinery Salon, Seventh Floor, Woodward." Signage affixed across the window foreground reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds." The date, photographic sequence number, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "11-20-42; 18725-2x; Davis B. Hillmer."
