Busts of lady mannequins are featured atop ornamental hat stands and tables which display ladies straw hats affixed with flowers. Signage in the central foreground reads, "Flower Arbor Hats for 'The Pretty Lady Look of Spring 1945,' … Interpreted by Sally Victor, Millinery Salon, Seventh Floor, Woodward." Also, signage affixed across the front of the window reads, "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds, Immediate Delivery, WAR BONDS, 11th Floor, Woodward, Section D." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "2-21-45; 22043-2x; Davis B. Hillmer."
