Featured atop an abstract display are differing styles of ladies hats including ones which large floral arrangements and ribbons. Small signage affixed to the left rear of the display reads, "You are invited to see a presentation of Spring Millinery, Simply Spring, in collections by important designers, Friday, February 28, at two thirty in the afternoon, Millinery Salon, Seventh Floor." A large floral display is visible in the foreground with accompanying signage which reads, "Simply Spring, In Provocative Heather, By Hattie Corng, Millinery Salon, Seventh Floor, Woodward." The date, photographic sequence number, and photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "2-27-47; 22762-x; Davis B. Hillmer."
