Print. (2 Copies.) Black and white photographic print of an interior view of the ladies lingerie department, located on the Fifth Floor of The J.L. Hudson Company Department Store. Ladies brassieres in varying styles and colors are visible in the retail display located in the foreground. Brassieres noted by brand name are also visible in the background. Displayed atop the retail display are two male figurines, the left dressed as an artist and the right dressed as a police man, each hold banners which read, "Lily of France." Mannequin torsos and forms are displayed adjacent to the figurines and feature ladies girdles, and brassieres. The photographic sequence number, company name, and the photographer's name are printed on the bottom of the recto, "28257-2x; The J.L. Hudson Company; Photography by Davis B. Hillmer." The photographer's address is stamped on the verso, "Davis B. Hillmer Photographer, 8825 Second Ave., Detroit 2, Michigan."
