Two sepia-toned photographs of a 4-story commercial business/apartment building that were printed on a sheet of white paper for a property survey report. The building was located at the northeast corner of Joy Road and Petoskey Avenue in Detroit.

The upper photo depicts an image that looks northward across Joy Road and shows a front view of the 4-story brick/stone building. Petoskey Avenue can be seen at the left edge of the photo and parked cars can be seen along Joy Road in the lower foreground. Business names that are visible include: Young's Tailors-Cleaners, Better's Shoe Repair, and Morrises Meat & Poultry Market (which features signs in Hebrew). A caption beneath the photo has black printed text that reads "View of Neighborhood."

The lower photo depicts an image that looks northeastward along Joy Road and shows a front corner view of the 4-story brick/stone commercial business and apartment building that was located at the northeast corner of Petoskey Avenue and Joy Road. A parked truck can be seen near the corner at Petoskey Avenue in the left foreground and parked cars can be seen on Joy Road in the right background. Utility poles, sidewalks, and various commercial buildings are visible in the center background. Business names that are visible include: Joy Road Beer-Wine Store, Young's Tailors-Cleaners, Better's Shoe Repair, Al's Place, Dorfman's Drugs, and Economy Moving. A caption above the photo has black printed text that reads "Street View."
