The lower photo depicts an image that looks northeastward along Joy Road and shows a front corner view of the 4-story brick/stone commercial business and apartment building that was located at the northeast corner of Petoskey Avenue and Joy Road. A parked truck can be seen near the corner at Petoskey Avenue in the left foreground and parked cars can be seen on Joy Road in the right background. Utility poles, sidewalks, and various commercial buildings are visible in the center background. Business names that are visible include: Joy Road Beer-Wine Store, Young's Tailors-Cleaners, Better's Shoe Repair, Al's Place, Dorfman's Drugs, and Economy Moving.
