Print, Photographic

Mounted sepia-toned photograph of a building containing three storefronts with large glass windows on both sides of each entrance. Above each storefront, on the building's second floor are canted windows. The two window displays on the left are empty, and a "To Rent" sign is hung on the leftmost one. A display of small tins, boxes, jars, and barrels is in the window on the right. A sign that reads, "Will Build to Suit Tenant on this Corner, Enquire E.M. Rothman, 90 Woodward Ave." is posted in the lot to the right of the building. A brick-paved street with streetcar rails running along it is in the foreground. A front tire and fender of an early automobile is in the foreground in the lower left. The photo is mounted on an olive cardboard backing printed with the photographer's information, "Manning Brothers, 22-24 Witherell St., Detroit." The image of a clock surrounded by the text, "Received, Answered Oct 13 1914," is stamped on the verso.
