A group of men wearing Revolutionary War costume on horseback, surrounded by men in contemporary military dress proceed west along Michigan. A photographer is taking of picture of one of the men in modern uniform, who holds a flag on which "George Washington" is embroidered. A crowd lines both sides of Michigan. Bowles Lunch, and Rose's Men's Service barbershop are among the storefronts on the north side of Michigan. The Family Theatre, City Hall, Cadillac Square Building, the Michigan Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, and the Wayne County Building are all visible in the background.
