Caption on verso reads, "Champion Porcelain Company, Detroit, Mich. Decorating Department, showing printing machines and electrically heated decorating kilns. Cores are taken from Sillimanite saggers (extreme right) and printed with the trade mark which is burned into the glaze in the kilns. The cores emerge at the left where they receive a final inspection before they are packed in boxes for shipment to the assembly plant in Toledo. Note the conveyor lines for handling empty saggers."
