Caption on reads: This is a picture of the display arranged by the foreman of Department #3, Mr. Ertel Flanigan, for the openhouse held at the Ceramic Division on October 26, 1947. Shown are master forms and rubber forms as identified in the picture, as well as forming arbors, mill ball forms, mill balls, gauge for checking Counterbore depths, and body for insulators and mill balls, also all identified in the picture. In the square frame in the top center of the picture are shown cut sections of the rubber assemblies together with the forming arbors held in place in the arbor holders. Also shown are half sections of the blanks which each assembly makes, and the bottom row complete blanks of the same made in the same assemblies. On the board in the lower part of the picture are shown 24 assorted blanks representing various types of sizes. At the extreme left and right are shown very small blanks from which V-type insulators are made. The gauge in the lower right foreground is used for measuring the counterbore depths and the nature of the bore, a stepped hole, is clearly shown by the nine forming arbors displayed in the center of the picture.
