Print, Photographic

Black and white photographic print mounted on fabric depicting the inside of the Dressler Kiln at the Champion Porcelain Co.
Caption on verso reads: Dressler Kiln after shut-down in August 1927, after 21 months' continuous oil firing.
Taken from the same position as in Photograph #85625, west side looking south, flame shield in foreground, but showing the entire chamber set at forward burners. Here again is shown the relatively small amount of oxidation in the combustion chamber lining. See also Photograph #85628.
