Caption on verso reads: Dressler Kiln #2 after first shut-down showing the condition of the inside end of a 400 grade clay chamber where the auxiliary oil had played against it. 400 grade contains alumina replacing part of the grog. This chamber was located 4' south of #6 crown couple (2440 F) and on the East side of kiln.
