Black and white photographic print mounted on fabric depicting a woman operating a pug mill at the Champion Spark Plug Co. Behind her are several racks filled with trays of blanks.

Here the pugged rolls, as shown in the last photograph , are run thru pug mills as in the foreground, and extruded and cut off to a definite length, forming blanks. These are about one inch in diameter and two and one-half inches long, and have a holes in them thru which the center electrode will eventually pass when the blank is made into a finished spark plug.
Note the operator placing the blanks in the tray.
