Spraying or atomizing the glaze suspended in water. The spray is shot against the surface of the cores, which are placed on revolving spindles so that a uniform coating of the glaze is put all over each core, with the exception of the shoulder and base.
After the cores are coated with glaze, they are placed directly into saggers or refractory containers, as illustrated.
