Loading platform cut into the perpendicular face of the cliff. Holes were drilled into the solid Sillimanite and steel bars inserted therein to made a foundation for the rock wall. A group of seven to ten pack animals are loaded and started down the trail, then another group is driven on the platform, loaded and dispatched. Great skill is required to properly balance and secure the 400 lb. load.
