A typewritten note attached to the verso reads, "The above montage, the work of the air base photo section, pictures the performers of the WJZ Victory Troupe as they presented their show at the opening of the new Air Base Theatre last Saturday evening. The variety show which was the feature of the grand opening was broadcast over station WNEW. The theatre was accepted on behalf of the base by the Commanding Officer, Colonel William H.
