One black and white photograph showing 9 women lying on a floor with a 120-foot long letter while a man to the right of the letter kneels and takes a photograph. In the background, two women hold the letter up and Toby David (right) holds the end of the paper as he begins to read it. A typewritten press release included with the photograph explains that David had spoken on his radio program about a group of servicemen on a remote Air Force base who eagerly anticipated mail day. Many listeners sent cards and 18 girls from Eastern Michigan University wrote this 120-foot long letter to the men.
