Photograph. Sepia-toned photo of the Lonyo Road Sewer under construction which was located adjacent to the M.C.R.R. tracks. Handwritten text on the upper and lower edges of the photo shows "Lonyo Road Sewer before cave in" and "Detroit, Sept., 1919." The view shows a wide, excavated trench in the foreground along with track-mounted steel forms for constructing a large, double-barrel cast-in-place concrete sewer.
