Black and white panoramic photo of the Shrine Circus at the Michigan State Fairgrounds Coliseum taken in February of 1937. Three acts are performing, with a line of women dancing in shiny costumes in the center, and circles of men and women dancing in historical costume in the outer two rings. Numerous other costumed circus performers stand around the rings, and the stage in the background. The seating is mostly full in the Coliseum. The Shrine Circus was in town from February 1-14 of 1937. Banners advertising Plymouth, Dodge, Kroger, Crowley Milner and Company, Ford, Mrs. Wagner's Pie, Coca-Cola, Greenfield's Inc., Ira Wilson and Sons Dairy, Cass Motor Sales, Detroit Insurance Agency, Wonderbread, CKLW, WWJ, WJBK, WJR, and other companies and businesses are strung from the rafters. "Photo by Spencer Wuskoff of Detroit," is printed near the bottom.
