Black and white photograph of Château de Pontchartrain in Jouars-Pontchartrain, Yvelines, as seen from the entrance. A stone building, that forms three sides of a rectangle. This view shows a small portion of the driveway that leads to the Chateau, directly down the driveway is an archway in the middle of the far wall that looks like it might lead to a garden. Above the archway is a domed ceiling with a bell above it and a clock below. The Chateau appears to be three-stories. The far wall (the shortest side), has eight windows across its length on each floor. A low fence forms the entryway to the courtyard. "Michel Desjardins," is handwritten on the verso.
