Black and white photograph of Château de Pontchartrain in Jouars-Pontchartrain, Yvelines, as viewed from the back across the water. The archway of the back wall can be seen in the center of the Chateau with a clock and domed roof over it. The rest of the roof is in Mansard style. Two wings (not visible from a front view of the Chateau) can be seen on either side of the eight center windows that make up the shortest section (and only visible section from this viewpoint) of this Chateau, shaped like three sides of a rectangle. Trees frame the Chateau on both sides. "Michel Desjardins," is handwritten on the verso.
