In the background are the Greater Penobscot Building, Book Cadillac Hotel, Michigan Bell Building, and Town House Apartments. A building--presumably the Michigan Bell Maintenance Shop--is under constructions to the west of the Michigan Bell Building. Businesses on the north side of the street include the Fifth Ave Bar and Tampico.
