One black and white photograph entitled "Ice-Bound in St. Mary's River, Nov. 30, 1936 - Airphoto by Detroit News." The photo shows an aerial view of a line of six steamships that are stuck in heavy ice on the St. Mary's River. The shoreline, navigational markers, and several small islands can be seen in the background. The steamship in the left foreground is the W. W. Atterbury of the Great Lakes Transit Corporation, but the names of the other ships are not readable. A black ink stamp and handwritten text on the verso shows "Detroit News Airphoto - Subject: Freighters Ice bound in St. Mary's River; Date: Nov. 30, 36; Plane: Earlybird; Photographer: Don Walker; Laboratory Handling: Vance."
