Sepia-toned photo of the machine room in the Detroit Osteopathic Hospital in Highland Park taken from a photo album of air conditioning installations done by the Detroit Ice Machine Company in 1937. Several Frick refrigeration units, two of which bear plaques from the Detroit Ice Machine Company have been installed in the space. "M-2026," is printed backwards near the lower left corner of the photo, corresponding to the description "Machine Room," on the table of contents page (2008.039.003). The photo is mounted on a linen photo album page with a flap on the left hand side with three holes for binding.
