One sepia-toned photograph of the sidewheel passenger steamship, CRYSTAL. The photo shows a port side view of the derelict, sunken vessel which is resting in shallow water. An accompanying handwritten note reads: "St. pass., 'Crystal' originally named 'Pearl'. Wood, built in 1875, Detroit, by and for J.P. Clark. 551 gr. [gross tons], 405 n. [net tons], 177.0' [length] x 28.8' [beam] x 10.0' [draft]. Valued at $38,000.00 in 1879. 1893, owned by J.E. Rebstock, Buffalo. 1900-1901, renamed 'Crystal'. 1899-1906, owned and operated by Crystal Beach Steamboat Co., Buffalo, N.Y. Last listed in register in 1906, abandoned."
