Print. Black and white photograph of the window display at Himelhoch's Department Store. Two female mannequins are dressed in their Sunday best and are posed to appear as if they are having a conversation. The focal point of the display is an array of hats, which are produced at Himelhoch's, surrounded by tulips at the base. A small sign at the base of the flowers reads, "Flowers by Scribner Jean, 5145 East Jefferson." Also, signage to the right of the hat display reads, "Your Easter Hat...Brightly Flowered, Above Your Coat by Ben Gershel, Master Designer, Millinery Third Floor, Coats, Second Floor." Printed in the lower left corner is the photograph sequence number, "23812" and on the opposing corner is the photographer's name, Davis B. Hillmer." The date has been written on the verso, "March 25, 1949."
