Black and white copy on photographic paper of a photo depicting a row of storefronts along the west side of Woodward Avenue between Clifford Street and Park Avenue (as indicated by handwritten note on verso). The signage along this strip includes that for the Washington Market; Domestic Sewing Machine Company; a chiropodist, advertising 25¢ corn removal; O'Neil and Hoffner; Leadley Florist; Panel Studio, advertising "postcards of yourself;" Wayne Optical, featuring a large eye on their sign; the Arcade Buffet; Max Redelsheimer, Manufacturing Optician; and a dentist. An early automobile, and horse-drawn wagons belonging to O'Neil and Hoffner and Leadley are parked along the street. "Before 1908" and "c.1905" also handwritten on verso.
