Print, Photographic

Black and white photographic print depicting the northwest corner of Jefferson Avenue and Griswold Street, as viewed from the opposite corner at street-level. Signs are posted for several businesses in the corner building: a hotel, the Postal Telegraph-Cable Company, J. and T. Hurley Coal, Toledo Computing Scales, and the Michigan Neckwear Company. The Standard Trunks Company is in a storefront on the left. An early automobile is parked in front of Toledo Computing Scales. A police officer stands at the corner, and pedestrians are about. The streets are paved with bricks and several sets of streetcar tracks cross the intersection. Streetcar lines are suspended overhead. "1910" also handwritten on verso along with other illegible notes that appear to concern addresses.
